Freedom and Intelligence
Freedom and
intelligence are Man's most precious possessions. Both are menaced:
- Freedom is menaced by the
manipulative forces of greed. True, slavery has been abolished in so-called Western
liberal democracies -- but it has been replaced by new virulent and pernicious forms of economic
servitude. Not much has changed -- the slaves and the indentured servants of colonial
times have been replaced by millions of indentured citizens.
- Usury -- gain at the
expense of others -- permeates and encroaches on most human activities.
- The chains of economic
subjugation have become contractual -- usurious mortgage agreements, credit card
agreements, credit line agreements, loan agreements, lease agreements, student loan
agreements, etc. With student loans, millions of young men and women risk becoming indentured
-- "man as mind" is now an alienable property. Whole nations are being
indentured -- one government at a time.
- Big Business is constantly divorcing
Science and Technology from scientists and engineers, as employees and researchers; and monopolizing
Knowledge in the form of patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. Skills are being
separated from workers -- and hoarded in intelligent machines and robots.
- Women are being separated
from families and exploited, in record numbers -- as workers-consumers in the marketplace.
Ironically, all political parties preach "family values."
- Free trade is an
abominable and farcical tragicomedy. Capital can move freely to exploit labor across
national boundaries, at lightning speeds; but the same labor force cannot cross freely the
same borders, to exploit the same opportunities.
- Magian laws serve the
absurd monopolistic interests of Big Government and Big Business. Laws have been
perverted to give Darwinistic advantages to Big Government and Big Business -- at
the expense of the Citizen. The asymmetries in the rights and powers (economic and
legal, and, therefore, political) of Big Business and Big Government, on the one side, and
of the individual Citizen, on the other, make an absolute mockery of Democracy and
Justice.
- Money is not just value
in exchange or value in use. A more ominous meaning of money has emerged -- it
is value in coercion and subjugation. Capitalism has become monstrous dirigisme.
- Contrary to the buzzing
propaganda, Capitalism is not accessible to all the citizens. Capitalism has
been perverted into a Faustian technology to dominate Man -- as servant, as worker, and as
consumer.
Unfettered, these
encroachments on liberty, spirit, and mind can lead to WORLD WAR III
AGAINST THE MONEY TRUST.
